In 1994 DC ran a series of features at the back of it's books about the creative process in comics.  One was called 'what exactly does an inker do?' (I've posted a scan of it here http://paiwings.blogspot.com/2009/07/yet-more-reviews-part-6-justice-filled.html look at the bottom of the entry).

There's another one in the back of Guy Gardener Warrior # 25 called Comics Colouring demystifed, which I will scan and post on my blog on a later date.

Basically I'm looking for the ones that deal with the pencils and letters (I'm assuming these were done).

Does anyone have a scan they can send me or can you let me know the names of some comcis they have appeared in?

I have scanend and posted the comics colouring one here http://paiwings.blogspot.com/2009/11/help-requested-what-colouristspenciller.html

The inker one came from an Extreme Justice comic

Does this stuff sound/look familiar to anybody?Huh  I'd really like to track down the other pieces in the series!

That's going back a while. I'm sure if someone had a checklist we could dig out the issues in question. In fact I'm 100% certain Tyroc will have the issues if we can find a list.

@ FMS: I don't have a particular checklist, but I can def look up the specific months for the 2 issues I do have, and I'm guessing any books released about the same time would be part of the series.  I get the impression that it was a weekly thing.

I'd really like to see the whole series if anyone's got them...?

Yeah cool, that might be the go. There's enough DC peeps on the site to paw through their stash. Lucky it wasn't Marvel or you'd be relying on me  Cheesy

Right, the Warrior one is dated November 1994 and the Extreme Justice on is dated Jan 1995.

Sadly all of this happened when I was out of comics (1989 - 2004) so I'm not going to be much help on that, unless any appeared in the Legion. I never stopped collecting that.

So long as no-one's trying to convince Kevin Smith of the value of inker, cos, y'know...

Banky Edwards: How should I sign this?
Little Kid: I don't want you to sign it, man. I want the guy that draws Bluntman and Chronic to sign it.
[snatches the comic away]
Little Kid: You're just a tracer.
Collector: Tell him, little shaver.

I was gonna give your family the weekend off and go stare through someone else's lounge room window, but not anymore. Fucker!
