Sweet, that was pretty quick.  I sent some figures to a Canadian friend 3 weeks ago that haven't arrived yet.

The Canadian postal system is horrible in my experience. And it costs more to ship there than to Aussie Land. Not sure how that works...

I was reading an ebay auction (US seller) that said "I ship to the following countries only". he then went on to say that if your country is not listed there then you can forget and ended it with "This means you Italy".

I laughed, but I've read numerous times about people not shipping to Italy, is it really that bad?

That is funny,i shipped to Italy once amongst numerous countries and didn't have a problem there. My only drama has been shipping to Mexico.Even shipped to Peru once and Aussie Post denies postal insurance or registered post to there[which i found odd] but it got there ok.

What is it with Italy?

Are they worried the Mafia might require extra payments to protect your packages?

I remember seeing something in the media about it having one of the worst postal systems in the world. But if stuff goes missing, where does it go? Does some postman there have the world's largest collection of toys, 9 year old's birthday cards and baby clothes?

Yeah, I don't know what it is about Canada, but jeez-louise...... rodkeith and I have had some parcel hassles in time - they get there in the end though.

I have had a run of bad luck lately - OuSooner found me a DCUC Riddler and it seems to have been lost in transit, and dozy sent me some MLs two weeks ago that haven't arrived.  Cry Cry Cry Cry

Hmmm . . . Maybe that'd be a cheaper way to expand my collection.   Wink
