Really good review of the figures.  Glad you finally got your hands on them.  Yes, Hawkman is awesome.

Yes, this was a great wave all around! I won't dwell on the numerous good things, as the wave is 97% there for me (love the detail on Mr. Miracle's soles!) but the only tiny complaints I have were

a) Miracle's cape is way too stiff a plastic to allow any real poseability, especially with his flight discs. I hope they'll stick with the softer stuff used for most other figures in the future.

b) Cap's lightning bolt ends at the joint i.e. when you tilt his torso backwards, the yellow bolt stops and you're left with a break in the design.

Other than that, a fine, fine set, and if Hawkman is the new standard, we're going to be very pleased DC fans indeed in the near future.

Yeah, I hope Hawkgirl matches up to him so the pair set is awesome. All signs are good. All the stops were pulled out with this one for sure.

I'm only getting a couple from wave 8, and Hawkgirl is one of them.

Great review Andy. I get so envious when I see any DCUC in peoples collections. I have waves 3 through 7 paid for, but my guy in the states is always ultra busy to send stuff.

Yikes, that's a lot of stuff paid for!

Well if you need someone different I'd recommend MikeS or Cornerstore Comics, they've both been good to me.

Damn.  That's a lot of stuff to have paid for and not shipped.  Hope your guy is trustworthy.

Yeah, the reason he has been busy is because he has family here who lost everything in the recent bushfires. He also has the two most recent waves of ML, some JLU and AOA Sunfire and Ka-Zar exclusive. Expect some haul pics soon.

Man, that is a haul! Very jealous if you have Nemesis wave figures!

Well at least there is a real reason why there is a delay.
Like Andy said, CornerStore are ok and will help as much as they can to get things to you.  Smiley

I've used CSC and BBTS in the past. A problem I have with them is that they won't ship loose. Stuart only charges retail and you would be surprised how much he can fit into one box. I've been using him for figure hunting for the last 5 years. A godsend when MOTU 2000X came out.
