This is a great looking piece Andy.

I think the scale of Warpath is actually spot on. He's much bigger than his brother Thunderbird and I believe is meant to be 7'2". So if Wolvie is 5'3" and X-23 around the same then the height is actually proportional. I think what throws it off is Warpath's bulk as it would be difficult for someone of that height to achieve that much muscle mass so he looks a little 'off'.

Like I said in the review, it doesn't really bug me, but I do think he could have been a smidge smaller. I mean, X-23 only comes up to his waist in this statue, and I think that's a wee bit off!  Wink

I reckon Warpath is the standout character of the piece. Another Sideshow hit! 2 thumbs up from me.

Yep. I love it. I hope they do more of this kind of multi-character thing.

I keep forgetting how short Wolvie is compared to the rest of the Marvel U. But Warpath looks like he's been dosed with Pym particles.

I blame it all on unstable molecules. The whole superhero universe has been been whacked out ever since they came on the scene.

Editors are supposed to monitor this kind of thing but instead it's called "creative freedom" for the artist. Wolvie is only 5'3" but is constantly drawn bigger. Just a pet peeve of mine.

Indeed. Some variances in height is reasonable to accept, but the whole idea Logan being shorter than the average bear seems to have been abandoned, and I don't get why. I suppose once Hugh Jackman took on the role on the films it was all moot.  Roll Eyes

I think it's more that he became so uber popular that people couldn't handle their fave character looking like a weeny kid sized hairball. Imagine if Puck had ever gotten the same level of popularity, suddenly his midgetness would be gone. It's that, or that all the people drawing Wolvie porn got sick of drawing a major cock on a tiny guy, and petitioned to have artists draw him bigger.
