Up tonight are reviews of two of the most recent instalments in the DC Direct Batman Black & White Statue Series: The Steve Rude Catwoman and Frank Quietly Batman Statues. Much to appreciate and enjoy in these two!

Enjoy,

Nice Andy, you make really good points about Batman's look which i admit made me appreciate it a bit more than i did originally.
That Catwoman though is off the charts, big fan of that SA look for her and definitely justice was done this time around.

Congrats on the  scores and great reviews mate.

Mmmm  Statuey. love the idea that Golden Age Catwoman was crazy enough to fight on rooftops in a cape and skirt split up to the thigh.

I've never understood Steve Rude's overwhelming appeal. He seems to highly revered in the art world and I can't see why. But I have to say he absolutely nailed that Catwoman. Purrrrfect! <see what I did there?>

Funnily enough, I tried to order a commission sketch from him the other day. Has some initials issues, and by the time it was potentially resolved, I cooled on the idea.

Ahh, initial that is.   Embarrassed

I.e. there was a sale on commissions, but when you try to add to cart, get told not available.

Can you explain it with a flow chart? Flowcharts are almost as easy to understand as pie charts.

Too many people deliberately making pac-man pie charts?

Yeah, or the old "this much pie I've eaten and this much I haven't". Essentially it's because they're a poor method of graphic representation as size differences are not emphasized effectively.
