Yes i'm psyched for this one, done right it's gonna be a beaut! And we don't have to worry too much about love interests messing up a good story because it's gonna be Hal Jordan and he's a man-whore.
And it's gonna be filmed down here in Oz,thrilled about that!Kinda wish i still worked in the industry now.

Here's where i got my tidbits of info:

Got high hopes for this indeed. This needs to really break the mold of some of the sillier DC live action stuff to get a proper DC movie franchise off the ground. CGI is at a place where there should be able to do it. Casting Hal is absolutely essential.

I'm going to reserve all judgment and comments on this film until they cast Hal.

...and I seriously hope they don't dicker with the uniform too much.

That's a good point. The outfit is classic, no X-Men style black jacket stuff will do. That's gonna be a challenge.

Some things you just can't fuck with.

Batman's costume has some room to play, but that's about it.  Look what happened to Superman Returns... not many people liked the costume changes.  Spider-Man worked because all they did was make it look realistic, something they should try to go for with Green Lantern.  He can't look as hokey as an Alex Ross painting, but it it's too far off the mark it's going to alienate legions of people.

I think one reason the Spidey costume works in real life is because of the mask. It's still a guy in tights, but it's a masked guy, somehow that helps you suspend belief.

I'm 100% behind a literal costume interpretation for this film but doubt we'll get it.

There was a Site somewhere that had some proposed Costume design pics for the Movie.I'll have to find it again, but from what i remember they stayed pretty much true to form.

Ha,beat me to it was gonna post that tonight too.Looks pretty good so far, slight changes to the Cossie but not enough to perturb.Sinestro looks like the JLU version pretty much but Abin Sur sure looks different.Godd to see lots of other GLs will be included.
To be released in July, may have to grab that while i'm in the States i reckon.

I watched the 'first look' stuff ont he WW disc and Hal's costume doesn't look like any version I've seen. They seem to have added 'bits' to it. It isn't just a guy in tights.
