Well, it's official... I'm knee deep in... ehm... In Classics. Last week's haul also included the incredible King Grayskull, from the 2008 SDCC. If had any doubts about committing to this line, Webstor took care of those, but if he hadn't, this one really would be the solution. I'm so happy right now! I finally got my commentary of the four retro ninja turtles I got up on my blog... I really dig the unique sculpt that was made by Playmates for this line. There was almost no reusing of parts, lots of cool, bizarre details and characters, the figures were incredibly solid and ell made. The only thing that had a problem was the paint, a little too sloppy sometimes. Other than that this is one of the best lines I own. The rest of my thoughts, here: www.freakstudios.blogspot.comYou also get the link to a hilarious song by Canadian band Arrowant Worms. Like, Parker Lewis, you can't loose.

I'm pretty sure my brother's near mint moose fellow is at my parents place. I say near mint, but then I haven't seen it in ages and it's probably in a box in their ceiling. He got the moose, I got some lion guy.

That would be King Lionheart I presume. A Thespian, expert in Shakespeare, that mutated with a lion, why? Who really cares. That's him in the back.

Futurama wave 7 found his way to my collection and this time the feeling is bitter sweet. I finally completed the Planet Express crew, but for the first time the sculpt was just a little off... See for yourselves: Still, I'm glad I have this, specially since I wasn't really expecting them, there's a guy I usually buy toys from, when wave 6 was released I asked him to order it for me, and he forgot, since we have a good relationship I made his life hell until he got them (even now wave 7 of Futurama is "the wave you forgot, you bastard"). But this time he ordered them for me even before I knew wave 7 was out (even before Michael Crawford's review), so I guess he redeem himself a little bit... More pics and my thoughts on the announced wave 8 in my blog: www.freakstudios.blogspot.com

He's a great figure FS! Nice pick-up. Despite the lack of articulation, 'Justice' is DCDs best effort (IMHO)

Great figure, definitely worth having.
I'd put "Hush" ahead of Justice.

Only 'cause they gave us an Alfred I love my Alfred figure, one of my all-time faves.Hush was great but Justice is number one for me[surprise, surprise],two series that could have easily stood a few more waves. And that Plastic Man really is a standout figure, there's many collections out there that has that particular fig in it.Great score FS.
