Yeah, but it is accurate. Not all Bowens retain their value over time.

I've managed to snag Polaris on eBay and Jack of Hearts and She-Hulk in Sydney on the weekend. The collection is growing!

Check it out:

Agreed. But Polaris is beautiful as well.

I've been focusing on buying a number of older Bowen busts to fill out my collection, but there have been a couple of recent releases recently, and tonight I'm looking at two of them: Pyro and Arcade. Two great additions character wise, but I have much nicer things to say about one than the other.

It's all at http://www.actionfigureblues.com/2010/10/great-pair-of-x-villain-busts-from.html

Enjoy!

They're both pretty neat. Pyro is a step up from some of the more generic poses they've done in the past.

The Jack of Hearts is the only Bowen bust I own-I just can't catch a break on my other most wanted from them.

And I highly recommend the small lead statutte of JoH from the Collectors Magazine. For the size it's really well detailed!

But PLEASE Bowen...give me Thunderstrike and Power Pack soon? I'm  tired of waiting...

The latest addition to my Bowen bust collection is Firestar. Sadly there are some pretty major issues with what could have been a great piece/

Read and weep at:

http://www.actionfigureblues.com/2011/04/bowen-firestar-flames-out.html

Enjoy!

Tonight's review is a hellish pair of busts! Badoom-tish! Daimon Hellstrom is a real cracker, and Satana is not too bad either!

Check them out at: http://www.actionfigureblues.com/2011/06/bowen-takes-afb-to-hell-with-daimon.html

Enjoy!
