I finally got Forge the other day at Marshalls of all places. Cost $12 for the set. They had the Cap, FF; and Ronin sets as well along with that "Internet Exclusive" Sunfire that I guess didn't sell a whole lot.

I'm glad to see Marvel Legends may not be dead; but I have zero interest in any of the characters announced so far.

It's kind of a vicious circle, they put out those two packs and nobody buys them (except me) because the second figure is one that nobody wants, then they turn around and say that sales are disappointing?Huh?

If I finally get the long sought after Marvel legends 'Shang-Chi' figure and it smells funny....I'm coming after you Westy!  Tongue

I think they learned that business model from Brewer. Give the fans something they don't want and then blame them for not buying it.  Tongue

I really am confused by the people who work at these companies. I mean look at the Ares series of Marvel Legends.
We get yet another version of Iron Man...and to be honest the "Heroes reborn" era is not one fans remember fondly. Then we get the Ben Reilly "Scarlet Spider". But not the guy with the hoody, just the repainted Spider-Man (again from a storyline that fans don't think much of). We get the Vision, a figure that was done in series 7. Ultimate War Machine has gotta be a "What the?" as well. And don't forget the Human Torch, a figure done in Series 2, a boxed set, the FF set and multiple variations of Movie figures. That leaves, Kang, Guardian and Crossbones.

And they wonder why fans get pissed at them?

Here's a decent look at those first three figs. Warpath looks awesome! Nice to see they used that horrid female body for Lady Bullseye.

Madrox looks pretty amazing too. But am I reading it right that we're not guaranteed to get these, but rather that they have to be voted on to be included in the three six packs on offer for all of 2010? If so, that reeks.....

I kinda interpreted it as you will get three 2-packs, each will contain one of these three figs. The other fig in each 2-pack will be fan vote. So there's still a chance that a bunch of hopeless ass clowns will vote for Tuxedo Wolverine who will be matched up with Jamie, etc.

I hope you're right FMS. Not sure if that's the message I'm getting. If I don't get that Madrox I'll be pretty pissy. And that's not pretty.  Wink

Yeah, now that I've re-read it I'm getting nervous. Something tells me that we'll vote on a bunch of figures, get three of them and they'll choose the other three. So once again I get to vote on figures I'll never see (Silver Samurai)

Yeah, that's what I'm reading. Yikes.

They said they'd show about 15-18 figs at San Diego. So we get 3 voted for by us, 3 chosen by Crapsbro. That means 9-12 figs we won't get if these don't sell.
