BATMAN (Funskool, MRF Ltd & Hasbro)

Batman figures from India 2001 to 2002

These were not bootleg figures they were officially licensed and not many people know about them.  Funskool (MRF Ltd & Hasbro) released 25 known figures.  Most of the figures were slightly different versions of their BTAS and TAOB&R North American counterparts with only minor differences in figure colors, decos and Card Backs.  There were however, three figures on newer generic “Batman” Card Backs that were repaints of Legends of the Dark Knight figures, Bat Attack BATMAN, Glacier Shield BATMAN and Underwater Assault BATMAN.

What I want to know is where did that Battle Jet come from?  It is not a Batman related vehicle from Kenner/Hasbro.  I assume that since these were licensed product that they got it from another line.  Maybe it came from G.I. Joe since some of the Batman figures included a free G.I. Joe figure in the package.  Any G.I. Joe collectors on here that know what this was?

Yup definitely a Joe product. It was originally released as the Cobra Star Stiletto in 1988, then again as a Starfighter in 1993. see here..http://www.yojoe.com/vehicles/93/starfighter/

Funskool is a Hasbro licencee from India, they buy the molds of stuff from hasbro cheap and mass produce them using cheaper plastic and sometimes garish colors.
