Looks amazing. Can't wait to see the complete team.  Smiley

Thanks Jack! Yeah, I'm keen to see them altogether. Now that I might have a base fig for the Wrecker it's all coming together.

Yellow and green, you sir are a madman!

Really great work yet again, smooth and seamless paint, clean joints and subtle detailing. The ball was clever, nice and light for the figure to hold and came out with a great, worn finish.
You'red oing good stuff mate, keep it up i'm loving your work.

Thanks mate! Appreciate the kind words.
Yeah, dunno what it is with the yellow. Very happy with the Humbrol yellow though. Thought I'd give it a rest and now I'm working with Pearl White which is really annoying me.

That was always my philosophy too,i never worked on anything when i was either tired or in a shitty mood.Too easy to rush something and do a half-assed job.

I'll be keen to see the results of the Pearl White paint.

Exactly why I'm not doing anything tonight. I've been in that mode where you can't wait to get back into a project when you get home from work and get the kids off to bed. But alas, I'm knackered from some intense work loads.

The pearl white is......interesting. It's not very opaque so it requires several coats to make it look good. Then with that much paint you get paint rubs. Oh well, live and learn. I'll do some 'brush' touch ups before pics.

There never seems to be enough time to do 'stuff'. I keep pushing my wife to get promoted, that way I can be a stay at home house bitch. I figure if I get up at 6am and work my ass off for 3 hours to get the house work done I can then paint, etc, for the rest of the day  Grin

VERY COOL!!!!

I'm really digging that ML head on the DCUC base, it works really well since Cage was such a large figure to begin with.

Thanks Stars. I was a bit dubious at first but as I began sanding down the 'fro it was looking good and then I bored out the post hole and his head just popped on perfectly (right height first off and everything)....I was sold on the choice!  Cheesy

I used to think I'd go nuts as a stay at home dad / husband, but after being sick earlier this year and having almost a term off work, I discovered I was wrong. I quite loved being able to keep the house in order and plan meals, etc. And I never got bored enough to watch Oprah once.  Wink

Well 3rd time's the charm or some crap like that. Managed to get my next custom done today, so allow me to present "Piledriver", another member of Marvel's villainous 'Wrecking Crew'.

I really liked the metallic blue effect on the boots and belt but it reflects light quite a bit and that white blemish on the belt is reflection not my bad painting....that can be seen elsewhere  Cheesy

The pearl white on the other hand.....aye carumba! Really good final effect, but the lack of opaqueness meant 3 coats to get the right finish. I like it though.

I'm really digging this whole 'make your own' stuff  Grin

Two members of the Wrecking Crew down and two to go (and here's a reference courtesy of artist Bob Layton for you non-Marvel fans)
