Okay, this is a game I've run elsewhere and it was great fun - it's also a bit of a "getting to know you" game which will provide some laughs, some insights and some "a-ha!" moments as you learn about your fellow AFB-ers.
The game is this: each AFB-er will PM me one "Bizarre Factoid" about themselves. It might be a previous job, an interesting skill, a strange experience - something that you think people would be very surprised to know about you - the more obscure it is the better.
Once these are collected (see deadline below) I will post a set of Factoids every few days and give you threeish days to post your guesses, matching the Factoids to a set of AFBers.
For each round you can earn 1 point for each correct guess, and a bonus point for correctly guessing the entire set in the round. You cannot play in the round your Factoid appears in, however you can earn 2 (two) bonus points if no one matches your Factoid to you.
Once all rounds have been played, I will reveal the answers one round at a time and give a running leaderboard. At the end of the game, First Place will receive the unclaimed prize from this month's Comment of the Month Contest, and Second Place will receive a TPB of your choice (based on what I can access here).
So - start sending me your Factoids - you have until October 10! Please post any questions below - but send your Factoids via PM to keep them secret!

Hey guys,
If the Bizarre Factoids game is to go ahead, I need more Factoids ASAP. It's not hard, just PM me something obscure about yourself you think that others wouldn't guess - an unusual job, skill, experience etc.
I need entries from a bulk of the active membership to make this work. Please take a moment to PM me yours now!

Being the 26th... Where are we on this?
Still not enough Factoids for a proper game. I will now resort to individual stalking, taunting and threats to get the rest. |
